Jones County Athletics get a big boost from the sports complexes that support the many leagues and programs in our region. There are several located throughout the county, but two in particular play a major role in our sports programs.

The Laurel Sportsplex

is a large athletic complex on Highway 84 in Laurel. The Sportsplex is home to several sports leagues with six soccer fields, two adult softball fields, eight lighted tennis courts and four youth baseball fields. The 40,000-square foot Natatorium contains an Olympic-sized swimming pool with lockers, showers and a multi-purpose room.

The Merchant’s Park Sports Complex

is located just outside of Ellisville. This family-oriented complex plays host to many of Jones County's recreational events, with several fields and courts for baseball, softball and tennis.
