Blueprint Mississippi Report Unveiled at MEC Capital Day

Mississippi -- The privately-funded Blueprint Mississippi report was unveiled at MEC Capital Day on Thursday, Jan. 5 in Jackson. The reports details the nine Blueprint goals and 36 recommendations designed to accomplish those goals.

Also as part of Capital Day Governor-elect Phil Bryant and Lt. Governor Tate Reeves, and House Speaker Philip Gunn spoke at the annual event, held at the Marriott and State Capitol. Other legislative leaders address the crowd prior to the state officials' lunch reception.

MEC Capital Day gives business and community leaders from across the state an opportunity to meet with legislators and hear about what ahead in the upcoming session.
